Frequently Asked Questions

  • Tensor offers structured capital strategies across three tiers:

    • Scalar: Passive, diversified exposure through ETFs and dividend-focused assets

    • Vector: Actively managed equity portfolios with dynamic positioning

    • Matrix: Advanced income strategies using options and structured overlays

We design and deploy capital systems to accelerate value across changing market conditions.

  • Start the process. Submit the form or schedule a call. We’ll take it from there. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible.

  • We treat portfolios as systems—modeling them through multi-variable frameworks that account for return, volatility, correlation, and time. This allows us to optimize positioning rather than simply select assets.

Across our funds, we apply different layers of quantitative structure:

    • Scalar: Statistical diversification across broad market exposures to stabilize long-term compounding

    • Vector: Factor-based and conviction-driven allocation models that weight assets dynamically based on directional signals

    • Matrix: Multi-dimensional optimization using options and volatility modeling to generate income and enhance risk-adjusted returns

At every level, we focus on relationships between variables—not isolated positions. By applying mathematical structure to capital, Tensor systematically reduces inefficiency and accelerates compounding across market conditions.

  • Taxes on realized gains are provisionally reserved at the time of withdrawal and held within a designated escrow allocation to support year-end tax obligations associated with realized profits generated by the fund’s trading activity. Final tax treatment may vary based on investor jurisdiction, account structure, holding period, and applicable regulations. Investors are encouraged to consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances.

  • Tensor operates on a structured subscription model designed for transparency, alignment, and long-duration capital deployment. Each fund carries a fixed monthly allocation fee alongside a performance participation structure calibrated to its strategy profile — 3% for Scalar, 5% for Vector, and 7% for Matrix — applied exclusively to net realized gains.

No front-end loads or transactional commissions are imposed. Capital is committed for a minimum six-month period, allowing strategies to operate with stability, reduced liquidity pressure, and uninterrupted execution across market cycles.

The result is a streamlined fee architecture engineered around consistency, disciplined capital management, and performance-aligned participation rather than traditional incentive distortion.

  • Each fund begins with a baseline NAV of $100. Performance is measured by changes in NAV over time, reflecting the realized gains, losses, and income generated by the underlying strategy.

Returns are expressed as the percentage change from the initial NAV:

    • NAV increases above $100 → positive return

    • NAV decreases below $100 → negative return

This framework provides a consistent, transparent measure of performance across all Tensor funds, independent of external price fluctuations or market noise. The NAV of all funds is calculated on a daily basis and before a withdrawal.

  • Working with Tensor is structured, technical, and systems-driven.

We operate at the intersection of engineering, mathematics, and capital allocation. Our team is composed primarily of individuals with backgrounds in quantitative finance, mathematics, engineering, computer science, and related disciplines—because we approach markets as structured systems, not narratives.

Collaboration is built around precision and execution. Ideas are evaluated through mathematical frameworks, modeled for risk and return, and integrated into portfolio systems designed for scalability and control.

At Tensor, work is not advisory. It is engineering and mathematics applied to markets.
